Stop merging process during contact upload

Hello Experts,

We are doing a massive contact upload on Hybris Marketing and we are facing performance issues because merge after contact upload. For instance, we are posting 10000 in a loop, but during the second post returns that was not possible create the contacts.

When we check SM50, the merge process is running and in the sm12 transaction we have a lot of locks on contact and these locks are part of merge process.

Is it possible to deactive this merge process during the upload and run later?
