No customer interest to be charged for certain period - FINT

Hi Guys,

We have a requirement where customer master is updated with blank interest indicator so that no interest get calculated. However whenever there is change in interest indicator in master data, interest gets calculated on outstanding line item from due date.

These customers were not liable for interest from due date but from certain date as agreed mutually.

To cater this requirement, we created zero interest indicator and updated in these customer masters. However on executing FINT, interest tables INTITHE and INTITIT does not gets updated for zero interest. So when ever interest indicator is changed, interest is still getting calculated from due date and not when last FINT was ran with zero int indicator.

Need few inputs to handle this scenerio.

Hi Lakshmi,

Had referred to this note earlier but its applicable only when FINT is run after config changes for interest indicator for first time. There should be no interest on customer even after first interest run after config change. This is not happening.
