Hi,
After installation of IS-Retail in your system (through Basis Consultant), you have to run transaction code W10T in command field.
To set up your default start transaction, choose System - User profile - Own data. On the Defaults tab page, enter W10T in the Start menu field and choose Save.
Now, you can see Retail Menu in your system.

Hello Sri,
did you activate the Business Fuctions for Retail within the IMG?
It's the very first entry within the SAP IMG.

Yes. I did.
But with few of the transactions, system says that the particular transaction is retail specific and cannot be accessed by me.
Particularly, with respect to site definition and assignments, I cannot find the menu path.
Can you please help?
Regards,
Sriram

Hi Sriram,
After activation, you have to carry out following activities;
(a) Creation of Site (Plant in R/3) using transaction code WB01
You can navigate using following path;
SAP Menu - Logistics - Retailing - Master Data - Site Data - Site - Create
The site master contains data on sites such as the address, assignment to other organizational units, size, opening hours, control information, classification information, departments, merchandise categories, and receiving points.
A distribution center is also a vendor (creditor), as it supplies merchandise to other sites.
(b) Creation of Article Master (Material Master in R/3) using transaction code MM41
A store is assigned one purchasing organization and one sales area (sales organization, distribution channel and division) and thereby also a distribution chain, to which the store belongs and which is used primarily for inter-company billing purposes. The store must be authorized to receive goods from the sales area to which the supplying distribution center belongs. If it is to be possible for merchandise to be transferred from one store to another, then the recipient store must also be authorized to receive goods from the sales area to which the supplying store belongs.
Each distribution center is assigned a purchasing organization (and, if required, a sales area) for determining warehouse transfer prices and units of measure.
A distribution center can also be assigned to a site (normally to itself) and a distribution chain (for determining sales prices). These assignments enable merchandise in the distribution center to be valuated at retail prices. This sort of valuation is most common in the apparel industry.
Each site belongs to exactly one company code.
