Hello,
We were trying to build a Planning Input Schedule using the Grid View. we were trying to get custom column combinations using Restricted measures, for example I would want to see Actual 2017 Actual 2018 only as first two columns and then the rest of the columns would be Plan 2018 for the 12 months.
Taking Actual and Plan as versions would expand Actual 2017 and Plan 2017 for all months and Actual 2018 and Plan 2018 for all months. Hence by doing we have to created Restricted measures for Actual 2017 and Actual 2018. But by doing so , it moves the version to the Global filter with filter selected as Plan and the option to remove from the filter is not available.
we tried creating a rolling forecast where we took forward 8 months from current month. It created the Restricted measures for the corresponding months. which is static as it does not have the time range selection of current month in it. . However we noticed that the version is not added to the Global filter in this case. How do we have the option of removing the Version and cross calculation from the Global filter while using restricted measures?
Also can we make the rolling forecast dynamic, where we create a rolling forecast after selecting some actual months and inserting a rolling forecast from that month which is dynamic, list a Forecast starting point , shifting the forecast period from month to month.
Hi Shankar,
Please see the following help page to create a dynamic forecast layout:

You can add CutOverDate / CutOverDateVer properties to your version dimension (double click on an empty column in the version dimension to add them)

Hi,

It would be great if you could add a couple of screenshots to capture your problem
