Hallo everyone
I need to copy user authorizations from an existing database to a newly setup database. I have thought of exporting the authorizations to excel from the existing database and uploading to the new db through the dtw but was wondering if there is an easier way of accomplishing this.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I agree with other's answer i.e. using copy express but sometimes system unable to copy the database user authorization if you want to change the authorizations of superusers.
Superusers have full authorizations and permissions by default and it
can't be changed.

Copy Express is what you should use for this.

Hi Francois,
The authorization table is not the same as other tables. It is not available for query. DTW is out of questions too You have to use tools like Copy Express to copy it.
Thanks,
Gordon

you can use "Copy Express" for copying data and other stuff form one database to another. It is an addon.
it is the simplest way for transferring data.
