Dear all,
I'm a SAP beginner and I'd appreciate your help.
I've found some rules for mapping F86 of MT940 to FEBRE.
However is there a generic logic/rule for mapping information from MT940/BAI2 to FEBEP/FEBKO ?
Specifically, how are the fields FWBTR, FWAER, KURSF, CURR_RATE populated ? Are these mapped from MT940/BAI2 ? If so what is the mapping rule ?
Thanks in advance !
Dejan
Hi Bastian,
thanks for responding.
I've reviewed Note 999974 and I understood the issue arising due to FX rate discrepancy.
Indeed, it is the mapping logic in RFEKA400 that holds the key.

Hi Dejan,
It;s not really a "starter" subject, SAP derives the exchange rate from the statement if the OCMT tag is used in the "86" line.
Have a look at program RFEKA400 form abschluss_umsatz to get a feeling for it and also have a look at note:
999974 - Bank statement: Exchange rate differences for foreign currency
I don't know of helpful documentation about this subject
