APO application 2 (PPDS) in RRP3 view

Folks

Does a receipt/ requirement element with Category group AU/AV which will have the APO application field ( last column in RRP3 view) entry as 2 (PPDS), be displayed in standard SNP pallning books ?

I had included these categories(AU/AV) in one of the existing category groups and assigned it to the one of the intended Planning area key figures and had observed that these receipt/ requirement element weren't visible in the SNP data view KF.

Any way to resolve this issue ?

Thanks

Hello Mr.

There 118 types of order Categories.

You need to check your order is of which type & which category then only you can assign a correct order type to it.

Table /SAPAPO/ATP03 contains all type of order category.

Each order has a order type , category & category type.

category & category type you can find from this table.

Thanks !!!

Hi ,

One more thing for an order creation you need to have a source location & a destination location here both AU & AV refers to source location only.

check table /SAPAPO/ATP03 , field ATPCATTYP which displays order type.

Thanks!!

In RRP3, view I had checked that the R/3 Object type is P(Project Order) and Category is 'AU' and Category Type is '2' (Requirement) and both source and destination fields are populated. Requirement qty is 50

So now that the project order requirement (which is Reservation, in this case) exists in RRP3 view, what I am trying to accomplish is, to view this order reservation requirement in the SNP Planning book which I had created. As, standard 9ANSP94 planning area doesn't have any KF for reservation, I had created a new PA and had created a KF, with 000 semantics, to accomodate this order reservation requirement and further assigned this KF to this Category AU.

Now in the data view for this PA, I was expecting to see the Requirement qty of 50 but couldn't see it.

My question is as the Requirement already exists in the LC, shouldn't this be displayed in SNP planning books?

Hope I am clear and would appreciate if any one can rovide their insights and experiences on how to resolve this issue.

Thanks

To see an order element in a keyfgure in SNP planning book assign the ATP category for the order element to the Category Group assigned to the keyfigure.

ATP category assignment to keyfigure specifies the type of order that gets created when u enter manually in the keyfigure.

Hope this helps.

I had created a zateogry group and assigned the relevant ATP category group as well as the cateogry to the SNP Planning Area Key Figure.

I see that this order exists in the Live Cache. Even then, the order element is not being shown in the KF. I am not sure what is the issue.

Thanks

Check if the new keyfigure is added to the relevant aggregates for the SNP Planning Area you are using. It should be assigned to 9AMALO at least for the data to show up in the Planning Book when your data selection is for Location Product (that calls aggregate 9AMALO).

That should be the issue.

Thanks Somnath.

The info you had provided was helpful.

Upon looking at 9ASNP02 PA, I had observed that it has few aggregates. What is the significance of these aggregates and what does these aggregates 9ALA, 9AMALA, 9AMALARE, 9AMAPR, 9AREPR stand/mean for?

Upon looking at the associated Planning Object structure, I had noticed that the characteristics are : 9AACTNAME, 9ALOCNO, 9AMATNR, 9APPMNAME, 9ARNAME, 9ATRNAME

I am not able to understand if there is a link or connection between the various Characteristics in the POS and the aggregates defined in the PA. I had observed that aggregates are assigned in the PA. Where actually are these aggregates defined?

Thanks

This is used for the consolidated/aggregate values of the lower level detail for the key figures object:

like

9AMALO is aggregate for material and location .

9AMALO : Material ,location

9ALA: Transportation lane

9AMALA :Material and Transportation lane

9AMALARE : Material,Transportation lane, resource

9AMAPR:Material , PPM

9AREPR : Resource , PPM

Hope it will help you .
