Hi,

Our company is NW 7.0 EP, the background is linked ECC、 SRM and so on , those system get sso configure between EP. Now we are changing our portal to thrid party system(non SAP), we need to link those iview to new portal. It's a problem that our SAP system is old, single sign on is based EP7.0 . the new thrid party portal can not direct build sigle sign on to those SAP system. We are doubt how can we provide this URL, it not only keep the SSO property at the same time but also not popup the EP website?

Thanks advance.

Hi Weihua Yao,
I will need more details about your case. Do you want to create standalone calls from your portal to another portal? Is that correct?

The first thing is that NW7.0 is no longer supported. So this is an issue.

To run the portal embedded inside another portal please check the KBA 1738027 - Embedding Enterprise Portal content in another webpage [VIDEO].

Fabio

Hi Fabio

Thanks for your reply, third party portal is sharepoint , we want use this product to instead SAP EP 7.0 . For SAP EP integrate SAP system is very heavy, including the SSO configuration(SSO is based on logon ticket , NOT SAP SSO product) . Our target is to integrate those content to sharepoint , we need the EP infrastructure to implement the SSO .

Thanks a lot!

Hi Weihua,

If the third party product supports SAML2 authentication, you can use same to authenticate against SAP System

Best regards,

Nick

Hi Weihua,

You will need to update your SAP System as it does not have the features required to satisfy your current business need. For more information as to why you should upgrade:
