Hi BW Gurus,
I am trying to show the date format of MM/DD/YYYY in BEx and RSRT for 0GIDATE, which is delivered as a Key Figure Date of data type DEC.
When look at the Infocube data, I see it is stored as the raw number, for example 733,058 and 733,101. When I display this on BEx or RSRT, the result for 733,058 is 01/16/2008 and for 733,101 it displays "X". 733,101 it should display as 02/28/2008.
Can anybody shed any light on what the issue may be?
From my understanding the raw value in the cube is KF date is number of days since 01/01/0000. So why don't certain days get interpreted correctly?
Kind Regards,
Alex
Alex,
Date type Key figures normally have an aggregation property of maximum. I am assuming that your query must be aggregating multiple rows one of which might be resulting in a # sign. Otherwise your understanding of date key figures is exactly correct. Try to create a test query with all the charactristics in rows and you should see the expected value for the date.
