Material quantity in the sales order

Dear All,

As per my client requirement the item quatity should be able to enter in the sales order as fixed increments like

For example:-

If the qty 10 , system will allow to enter 10,20 ,30,40,50..like that not 15 or 18 or 28.

Is it possible through any configuration settings

Please let me know your views on this

Dear Laksmipathi,

As your advise I have maintained the settings in the OVAH transaction selected message no.V4-081 and changed to "E".

System is giving error at sales order level but not in the delivery level.

System is allowing non fixed incremental qty with the warning message Message no. VL365

My requirement is system should give error message at delivery level also.

So can you please give the transaction to the change the warrning to error at delivery.

Have you maintained "B" for the field "Check overdelivery" in T.Code zeroVLP ??

Hi,

Go to the sales Document setting hrough IMG screen.

IMGS/DSalessales documentSales document

Select your sales document ,go to magnifing glass and enter in the item incrementas you want.

As per your suggestion we have done the settings related to Delivery Unit and changed the message type from W to E in OVAH but it is working for only non configurable material but for configurable material system is giving information message only but my client want error message.

Can you please give inputs on this

Dear Lakhsmipathi,

When we create sales order for normal material, system is giving error message as per the settings suggested by you people.

But when I create sales order for configurmaterial system is giving only information with the same settings(After selecting the variants in the sales order).

But we want restrict the sales order if there is non fixed incremental quantity.

You can of course control at delivery level as suggested by Amit and in addition to what Amit has said, go to OVAH, select message no.V4-081 and change it to "E". By default "W" will be there.

Thank you for your time spent.

I got the solution through

As per Raja and Amit I maintained Delivery unit in the Material master and

As per Lakshmipathi I have changed the warrning message to Error message.

Now system is giving error message at order level if I am not enter the fixed incremental qty.

User exits in the program MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP

In Material Master (MM01/ 02)

Go to Tab: Sales: sales org.1

there is Sub-Tab: Quantity Stipulations

There is Field: *Delivery unit

I think, this will full-fill your requirement.

Only exact multiples of this number can be delivered.

Example

The delivery unit consists of a number and a unit of measure. In the case of a delivery unit of 30 pieces, 30, 60, 90, and so on pieces can be delivered, but not, however, 100 pieces.

it is not possible at order level in std SAP

But in MM01 if you maintain delivery units as10 then the delivery will be possible as 10,20,30,etc in sales org data 1

But to do it at order level requires ABAP help

you can maintain under Material Master record under sales Org 1 level data.

there u can find min order qty and min del qty. if u maintain it 2 then system will allow u to take it as multiple of that
