Hi,
I noticed that company address is not broken down on its smaller parts with Service Layer / CompanyService_GetAdminInfo request (i.e. Street / Block / State / Zip / Country), comparing to DI access. Am I missing some other method, or that is how it is with Service Layer?
Please advise - wanted to confirm before I jump into implementing a sophisticated address parser. I am working on shipping integration so address parts are crucial, work as shipment sender info.
Thanks,
Alex
The way I found to resolve this so far is to extend 9.3 PL2 Service Layer with custom views as described in your blog.
Please advise if that is the only way around this. Just wanted to be sure I am not missing some other obvious solution.
Would appreciate your advice.
Thanks so much,
Alex

Thanks, but that does not seem to be relevant - I am observing this with Postman without use of WCF.
I am talking about a limitation of what Service Layer supports; can be seen using $metadata as well.
There is no 'Block', 'Street', 'City', or 'ZipCode' etc in the CompanyService_GetAdminInfo.

Hi Alex Postnikov,
