Tax number category

Hie Guys, Can you please help me if you know the answer?

I have some B docs failing to be processed by saying Tax number category UA0, or US1.. doont exists.

I m using CRM 2007 version. Can anyone tell me where these "Tax number category" is maintained??

Hi Dinesh,

Please check if the table TFKTAXNUMTYPE is available in CRM 2007. If it is available, then check if you have the create option (or button) in SE16.

If it is available, then fill the entries as below.

Category - US1

Function Module - BUPA_TAX_NUMBER_CHECK

Tax Cat. FI -

Name - USA: Social Security Number

Hey Arun, & all,

I have added the below entries in CRM in the table TFKTAXNUMTYPE.

US0 VAT_REGISTRATION_NUMBER_CHECK USA:VAT Registration Number

US1 BUPA_TAX_NUMBER_CHECK USA: Social Security Number

US2 BUPA_TAX_NUMBER_CHECK USA: Employer ID Number

But still this error happens.

when i create customer in R/3, for US, i have error some error BDocs failing to be processed by saying Tax number category US0 does not exist"

should this be changed in CRM or in R/3? anybody has a clue?

Hi Dinesh,

You need to enter this in the business partner master data, on the Identification tab.

In Customizing for Business Partner, you specify which tax number categories you need to be able to enter in your business partner data, by choosing Customer Relationship Management --> Master Data --> Business Partner --> Basic Settings --> Tax Numbers --> Maintain Tax Number Categories.

I think ur answer is for CRM 4.0 version. But not for CRM 2007. I just checked but i cud not find this activity.

Any other answers?
