Dynamic host address in FTP channel...

Hi,

My requirement is to send the file to a particular FTP server depending on the value in input.

Can i give FTP Server address dynamically? If its possible please explain me to achieve this.

I would be glad if anyone could provide me the alternative fulfilling my requirement.

Hi Satish,

Why do you need to have the server address dynamic? In case you have more than one FTP servers you can go for more than one channels. I dont think its feasible otherwise.

Yes,as u said if i use different communication channels i need to have different inteface mapping and different inbound interface which results in different message mappings altogether .

So,Could you help me providing better solution not going for different message mappings.

No that is not possible. If the mappings are the same, then may be you can use the same message in different inbound interfaces and make use of the same Message Mapping. But you can not have a dynamic host server in the FTP channel.

Hi Satish,

Different FTP server means different locations. Logically you should have different Channels for the same. You will need different mappings definitely. But you can have the same message mapping and different interface mappings for the different interfaces.
