Infotype 2003 day type for inactive employee

Hi Gurus,

how to get no. of working days for an inactive employee. i.e Day type TAGTY = blank. What basically Infotype 2003 stands for? Please Help.

Hi.. Substitution Infotype (2003) is when you want your employees to work in a shift which is not theirs. I do not think you need this for an inactive employee.

this is required for the creation of custom interface where we need to calculate no. of working days for an inactive employee. i.e day type = blank.

Read the WSR and count the day types within the pay period where the employee was inactive.

Can you give me the tables and logic for this calculation.

Hi.. This is how i would approach it.. will read the number of absences during the time of working also, calculate the number of working days from his hire date.. and subtract them both to get it. This is the only way, i would arrive at a correct result.
