Unable to View Mobile Category in SAP BO Mobile APP on IPAD

Hi,

I am unable to View "Mobile" Category on Apple Ipad, I using SAP BO Mobile App( Version 6.8.1) and Business Objects Version is BI 4.2 SP3.

The problem here is reports which are assigned to "Mobile" category are visible under "Reports" but these are visible when I go in to "Categories", it shows no categories are available. I even tried creating a custom category( for Ex: Mobile Test) under "Mobile" category and assigned a report which is visible from the "Reports" list but not from the "Categories" list. Neither the Category Name nor the Report name is visible.

I am in the same situation. Despite making changes as per the directions the categories still do not reflect under the "Categories" section in iPad. Appreciate any updates you have had regarding solution to this usecase.

Hello Anil,

The mobile category is reserved for listing documents on mobile phone or tablet. This won’t be listed as a category name.

You could try creating a different category and nested category to list the category in the app.

Make sure Mobile category is also assigned since it’s a mandated one.

Hi Vikas,

Appreciate your response here, I should have been more clear on my question.

I mean to say the Nested Category which I have created is not visible in the Categories, as usual the report is visible. Here I have created a Sub Category "Dev" under "Mobile" categories and assigned a report under both but still no luck.

Even I have added a Client Property "feature.home.category.nested.enabled = true" from the Client settings, I have attached the screen print of the Properties from CMC and report category as well.
