ME59 with different PO Types

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to use trx ME59 or the corresponding Job to create a PO automatically from a Pur.Req but with a different Document Type.

Doc.Type Pur.Req = "EC"

ME59 should be creating a PO de Doc.Type "PED"

In R/3 version 4.6C, standard , trx ME59 is creating POs of Type "EC" and not of type "PED".

How can I manipulate the doc.type created by the ME59 trx (or the corresponding Job)?

Is it Configuration or does there exist a User exit or Badi to manipulate this?

You will have to create a Z-program to handle this.. something like ZME59.. as I donot see the possibility of doing this standard way!

Did you check this user exit BTW.. EXIT_SAPLME59_001.. It groups requsitions for auto PO

you can do it with the config

for std Reqs to particular PO type you need to do the config in the Purchasing doc type config where yo link the Pr doc type to the PO doc type

for STO you need to do the config in set up stock transfer order
