IDP proxy in connection of SAC to Marketing Cloud

Hi,

We require connection between Hybris Marketing Cloud and SAC (BusinessObjects Cloud, Analytics Cloud). The guidance found here https://blogs.sap.com/2016/12/12/using-businessobjects-cloud-with-s4hana-cloud-marketing/ states that a pre-requisite is "The IdP is not used as proxy for a corporate IdP". Our customer uses OKTA as an identity provider and therefore we need to proxy SAP IDP; has anybody set this up before with an IDP proxy, and is it going to cause us an issue? There is no reference to this restriction in https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2518900 but this only covers connecting the SAP S/4HANA Cloud IDP to SAP Analytics Cloud. Also, if somebody could please confirm if Cloud Connector needs to be requested to connect SAP Hybris Marketing cloud to SAP Analytics Cloud that would also be great. 🙂

Hi Kunal,

I have changed the tags so hopefully it's better categorised now, thanks. I could not seem to select SAPBOC_Connectivity for questions, it looks as though it can only be used for blogs and that there hadn't been any content since September 2017 - is it still active as a category/tag?

Many thanks john.leggio , I have already assigned the tag SAP Analytics Cloud, it was just that Kunal suggested using that

SAPBOC_Connectivity tag too.
