Biar files in BOE XI 3.0

I would like to know where I can find the biar file with the sample databases in the different languages.

Hi Jaun,

If you use the default MySql database the Auditing Universes and reports are in

u2026\BusinessObjects Enterprise12.0\Samples (MySQL)

If you use another database look on your CD in the folder u2026\win32_x86\mlb\pro\cd\win32\m29.cab

Pick the BIAR file that corresponds with your language and database, extract it from the cab file and use the import Wizard to get import contents into your system.

I have not found the biar files in XI 3.1

thanks a lot for your reply.

The first file your talking about, I can see it in the deployment folder. However, the other ones, I think you are talking about

the XI R2 CD because that structure is not the XI 3.0 structure. In the 3.0 cd there is no m29.cab file, that is why I am not

able to find it.
