PGI for outbound with picked quantity less than required quantity

Dear Experts,

we have created a transfer order for an outbound delivery document generated with reference to STO.

when executing the picking, the user is picking only partial quantity and the remaining quantities are not to be picked. PGI is to be posted for the picked quantities only and the remaining quantity of the Outbound and the STO are to be marked as closed.

Is it possible to address this requirement within Standard?

details of the scenario is given below.

Business Case:

the user has requested 10 units of a material and has available logistics to transfer only 5 units.

Material code 1: required quantity is 10

outbound document delivery quantity:10

TO Quantity: 10

Picked Quantity: 5

yes it is possible in standard

you have to customize the Define Shipping Control in the WM shipping interface to allow partial picking

and you have to customize the confirmation control to decide whether the difference was just left in the bin or was not found and has to be cleared from inventory
