Dear all,
While creating SOLMAN project , we need to give SOLUTION. can you pelase explain me whats the exact purpose of SOLUTION.?
Regards
Venkat
Hi Venkat,
i am not quite sure if i get your question right. But i'll try anyway:
You can combine systems and business processes in a solution, according to your requirements, to monitor and improve your most important production business processes in the systems.
So a solution is nothing else than a bunch of systems with a similar context.
I hope this helps you!

Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,
Thanks a lot ..
If in the organization , supose we have 5 systems like R/3, CRM, SRM, BI etc..
if i combines R/3, CRM in one solution, then i will assign to project , after that can i access only these two systems bussiness scenarios or can i add again in business blue print stage ?
and my last doubt is " Is Solution is independent of project or dependent of project ?
Thanks & regards
Venkat
Solutions are mainly used to use the Solution Monitoring functionality (including MOPS, EWA, SLA, BPM, Administrative Tasks, ...) in Solution Manager. They can also be used for Service Desk and ChaRM of course.
Building up solutions can be done in several ways; i.e by component (all CRM systems), by environment (all PRD systems), by region (all European systems), by Team, etc... This way separate authorization roles can be created to grant/revoke access to a certain solution.
