MS Analysis for office PDF

Hello Expert,

I am using MS AFO version 2.4. I would like to created Excel report/Chart that I can convert into PDF and keep it dynamic with source data. However, my problem is that I cannot find the "CREATE SLIDE" ribbon under the Analysis Tab. I am able to open or see AFO pdf in a complete separate section from Start--Program---File but that wouldn't meet my client requirement because I want to be able to drill down Hierarchy from PDF table.

Please someone know how to add the "Created Slide" Ribbon on Analysis for Office Excel .

Thanks!

Hi - you can print to a PDF file if a printer is set up, but once you leave office and go to a PDF, you lose the drill down capability. Why is this needed in a PDF?

Hi Hermann Fotso,

I'm not sure if I could understand the entire question but I believe that you want to call PowerPoint presentations from the Analysis for Office ribbon. Is that the right question?

If yes than I can tell you that by now you can create presentations from Analysis for Office using the Smart Copy and Smart Paste as described at the user guide.

In case you are using Design Studio for presentations than you can create as described here.

Thanks,

Thank you for your input. After doing some research it seems that the "Create Slide" option was removed on AO 2.4 version and the smart Copy/Paste is the only way to go now. However, using the Smart Option is not giving me a Dynamic copy where you can drilldown under the hierarchy table node.

Let me know if I am wrong or there is a better option.

Thanks!

Sorry, but not clear! May be some screenshots and BPC version info?
