Dynamic actions in ESS.

Hello All-

We are in ECC 6.0 and we have a SAP ESS portal. We have some dynamic actions in PA configuration saying that if you add a spouse then the system has to create an adjustment reason in the backend so that the user can go into Benefits enrollment and can make changes to the plans accordingly. This works perfect in SAP backend.

But How can I achieve the same in ESS. The dynamic action is not getting triggered when I use ESS. Is there any way to create the adjustment reasons automatically when a life event happens, like marriage, birth, divorce etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

ESS/MSS dont support dynamic actions. You need to achieve this through some other method. Either by calling a report or workflow if possible.

Is there any easy/clean way instead of creating custom Iviews/ Custom RFCs?

hi,

you can modify the existing bapi and write some logic in there to update the other information.
