I am experiencing a strange issue - after a few minutes on SAP System ECC 6.0 my computer automatically reboots!
I work remotely and am using Cisco VPN Client Version 4.6.00.0045 to connect to the network.
My SAP GUI version is 640 patch level 8.
Windows XP Professional and Norton Antivirus 2008.
Not sure whether issue is with VPN or GUI version or Antivirus settings. The Windows XP error reporting says that it is a device driver problem -
"You received this message because a device driver installed on your computer caused Windows to stop unexpectedly. This type of error is referred to as a "stop error." A stop error requires you to restart your computer."
Any ideas or suggestions?
The issue was not with the SAP GUI (although I should probably upgrade that as well).
The problem was with the Cisco VPN client. After installing latest version 5.0.00.0340 my computer stopped rebooting.

Hi Uma,
GUI 640 patch level 8 is very old one.
Install the 710 version with latest patch. That might solve the issue.
