Error: No PXA storage space available at the moment

Dear SAP Gurus

I have recently installed CRM 2007 (IDES version) and am trying to play with it.

When I go to the web interface most of the links are working. However, when I click on REPORTS it fails with an error 'No PXA storage space available at the moment'

I searched on old SDN postings which directed me to Tech Notes : 740602.

But this tech notes say that the latest version doesn't have this problem.

The solution that it had suggested for the older version is to delete a piece of code related to languages and when I checked that part of the code, the suggested piece of code doesn't exist anymore.

Has anybody seen this error in the latest version of CRM?

Any suggestions or feedback will be highly appreciated.

Hello Guys

I just wanted to share this with the forum members. As per the instructions I got on ITTOOLS website I Went to Tr.Code. <RZ10>, went to basic maintenance of instance u2018ERM_DVEBMGS00_CRMu2019 and changed the ABAP memory from 150000 to 250000.

Now the problem is solved.

Hi Prasad,

I have also increased the abap buffer ie. paramter abap/buffersize from 300000 to 400000. But, no use for me.

Can you suggest some other solution?

hi

i had this problem in CRM 5.0 . it is caused high system load usually. ask Basis to change system parameters in order

to solve problem.

Unfortunately we don't have a Basis guy in our company. I am the only SAP person and am certified only in XI. So I am trying to do it myself. So if there is any other detailed information on fixing this problem, I would appreciate it a lot.

I have looked at the old SDN postings. I have also googled and looked at other sites also like sap.ittoolbox.com.

I have also looked at Tech notes like

Note 147568 - PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE

Note 872010 - PXA: Avoid PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE dumps

Note 175320 - PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE although a lot of space is free

Unfortunately nothing has helped me so far, and that is the reason I am trying my luck here .

Almost all postings are related to older versions and the technotes say that it has been fixed in the later versions. I have CRM 6.0 and so that is why I am confused.

in continuation with the above problem, I checked the Transaction Code ST22.

I got the following info,

What Happened?

The current ABAP.4 program had to be terminated because there

was no space available to load it.

What can you do?

Since this could have resulted in a temporary bottle neck you should

try to restart the program.

Ask the system administrator to increase the size of the area (PXA) used

to store ABAP/4 programs.

How can i increase this size of the area (PXA).

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
