ALEAUD Special handling needed option, in SOAP sender instead of IDOC_AAE

Hello experts.

I am configuring a scenario where an SAP system outside of my landscape need to send an ORDERS IDOC through my SAP PI single stack system, and I need to return an ALEAUD back to it.

sending this through the IDOC_AAE is not possible, so I am using the IDOC via SOAP message option.

The IDOC is getting into the PI OK (although the status of the outbound IDOC is always 02)

but when returning the ALEAUD, an internal IDOC number of the PI system is being returned to the system.

in the IDOC_AAE sender interface there is a flag for: "ALEAUD Special Handling Needed" which by SAP documentation does exactly what I need. it makes the PI send the IDOC with the original system IDOC number instead of the internal PI IDOC.

However I am using a SOAP sender.

Is there anyway I can also make the PI use the "ALEAUD Special Handling Needed" option via adapter module or something similar? either in the SOAP sender channel or the receiver IDOC_AAE channel.

said checkbox in IDOC_AAE sender (not used in my scenario! I use the SOAP sender):

the internal IDOC of PI:

the original IDOC number of the sender system:

ALEAUD containing the internal PI IDOC number:

Might I ask why exactly you cannot use IDoc_AAE Sender? Im successfully using that in an IDoc --> PI --> SOAP (EO) scenario.
