iWay Adapter for Siebel

Hi,

Could you please tell me what are the advantages of using iWay adapter to integrate with Siebel?

Is it possible to use file or HTTP adapter to send data to Siebel? If yes, then why do we need iway adapter?

Hi Vivek,

Basically u will have 3 transport protocols in Siebel iWay Adapter like File,MQ,HTTP.You can use any on of the transport protocol basing on the requirement.

Hi,

I think this iWay Adapter is third Party Adapter used to integrate the Applications like Siebel , Peoplesoft, JDEdwards and all.

If you want to Integrate the Siebel application means, you can Expose the Siebel application as Webservice and can send the SOAP Message to it via SOAP Adapter from XI .
