Error with netwearer Business clients

Hi .

I have got problem with netwearer Business clients.

I have created role and already connect to sap system.

Login is ok.

I could see the PFCG menu structure for my user logged onto NWBC, but could not run a transaction, it would just sit there with that circle hour glass icon spinning around.

When i read note 692245 but i not found "sapgui/user_scripting_disable_recording "and

"sapgui/user_scripting_set_readonly"

only found "user_scripting"

If you read the note carefully you can see that you might have a prerequisite for kernel patch level and/or Support package level:

If these are correct you should be able to add the parameters.

Also, in note 1136338, you can read the following:

These parameters must never be TRUE when the Business Client runs. They must be FALSE:

sapgui/user_scripting_set_readonly=FALSE
sapgui/user_scripting_disable_recording=FALSE

When i use transaction spam, i get a error

"OCS locked by user XX with transaction SAINT"

and "load packages -> from Application server" is disable

how to solve it ?

In SAINT user XX have defined an add-on queue or have not confirmed an add-on installation.

Ask user XX to clean up in SAINT and it will work again.

Hi Tomas,

Unfortunately I have same issue with NWBC FR 3.0.

The parameters are set as mentioned:

sapgui/user_scripting_set_readonly=FALSE

sapgui/user_scripting_disable_recording=FALSE

Still I have the hourglass, but the interesting part is that I can add search providers and search in a new window.

So no backend activity that part is working.

I also have the NWBC Version: 10000.1.9.777 here I get the message " The scripting support is disabled by the user." and follows with another error message "Access is denied".

Now I am confused must the scripting support be enabled or disabled?
