Document Printing on Status change

Hi All

My requirement is

I have a document in "Create" status, when I set the status "Print" all the originals inside that document has to be printed. What is the best way this can be achieved?

Is there any BAPI's / User exits / Standard workflows available for the same?

Hi,

I think the most suitable BADIs will be DOCUMENT_MAIN01 or DOCUMENT_STATUS01. These BADIs should help to achieve the wanted behavior.

Can I use the standard workflow WS20000104 (Start document distribution) to distribute the document to the distribution type PRT Print for printing?

This workflow i can mention in the status in the t.code dc10.

My doubt is whether this distribution type PRT can be used to print the document. Also where to specify the distribution type in the workflow.
