Hello ,

I am new to Production Support as well as BPM.Could you please give most regular problems we will come accross in BPM and please suggests methods to solve them

Hi Satya,

there are set of fixed problems it mainly depends on the requrimennt and in BPM the common problem undelivery of the message one reason could be of cache is not being updated

Hi Satya,

Many a times bcoz of the system load your BPM processes will stop with error or started status for that you need to continuously chk the Tcode SWPR and SWPC also SWWL for deleting old instances these will be in thousands.

Also keep on monitoring smq1 and smq2 if target system response is slow, there r chances that your queue will be occupied. for that you can do performance tuning by increasing the no. of dialogue processes.

Queue related problem comes freq: To solve this go to SXMB_Moni and resend particular message that in inbound/outbound waiting.

hi

issues like

->try to avoid the special characters for container variables

->mostly we will the return code error(99),try to refresh the cahe

from sxi_cache,try delete the work items from swwl,and execute the interface again,check the t.code swf_xi_customizing
