WBS in Planning Board

Dear All,

Need help in understanding how and when will the % duration of work which we get while confirming an acitivty will show up in higher WBS.

Eg.

WBS level 1 % duration of work doesnt show up (no time bar visible)

WBS level 2 % duration of work - doesnt show up (only actual time bar visible)

Activity 1 % duration of work 20- visible in plan board

Activity 2 % duration of work 20- visible in plan board

Requirement at higher WBS it should show % duration of work as it shows in Microsoft project.

yes i have selected all and then i did the extrapolation > then basic dates

i am just getting the time bar, but i am not able to get % duration of work in the immediate WBS and no time bar as well as % duration of work of Higher Hierarchy WBS

Hi,

most probably to get the display of % duration you have to go to settings >options>Planning Board>Date Bar Text>Text type -->variable description

Then select duration -

---

Left /Right.....

This may help u to get the display of duration.

I have tried that earlier it doesnt get the values to the upper WBS in turn gives value to activities only.

Did u select all the objects before u Extrapolate?

Select EDIT->SELECT->SELECT ALL, then u Extrapolate.

In CJ2B select Edit->Reconsile Dates->Extrapolate dates and click in Basic Dates.
