Dear All,

Can we transfer data of a DataCube in BI System to another DataCube in another BI System with the help of PI? If yes, then how can we do it and is it beneficial?

XI-BI Integration:

it would be good for future BI-XI-BI.if some more system would be integrated then point to point connection increase.

second thing ,XI provide monitoring facility, we can send alert in case of failure

So if I want to do BI-XI-BI scenario, will I be right to make it as

SAP BI > Proxy Framework> XI Adapter --> XI --> XI Adapter --> Proxy Framework --> SAP BI

Hi Chanakya,

At first try to have a look to the Interface Repository at http://ifr.sap.com/catalog/query.asp?language=EN. There you find all available BAPI's to read Data out of a BW System.

You can't find all R/3 tables in BW system, here in BW the will be stored in InfoObject,ODS,Cube.

In R/3 you have Datasources like: 2lis_11_vahdr.....

So first install it in RSA5 and then check it in RSA3, and then replicate it in BW and then assign Infosource in BW and then create uodated rules for ODS/Cube then create Infopackage and then extract data.
