bar chart question...

I did a report shows bar chart like this ...

Year Total shows long blue bar, one month total shows small yellow bar inside that big blue bar.

I forgot, how i got that.....Please help me.

Please tell me the chart options i need to set to get this.

Hi,

For getting the bar char t as mentioned in the link please right click on the bar chart

1) Goto > Chart Expert >Type Tab > Select Bar > On the right hand Side pane select > Stacked Bar chart.

2) Goto > Chart Expert > Data Tab > In the Value pane select the two values and the corresponding summary for those values.

Stacked Bar chart won't do this....

I did it using side by side Bar chart. I changed some option and go this output...I got old report with me...but i am not able to figure out from that report...how i got this..any body done this before?.

i think, this is undocument feature in side by side bar chart.

longer blue shows year value.

One the top, yellow shows month value.

somehow i was able put one bar on the top of other using some chart option.

Stacked Bar chart just stack up things...users don't like this...this is meaningless bar chart.

my option, user can clearly see visually...how much year..then how much one month in that year......

please help to figure out this hidden option in bar chart.
