SAP Data Services touches query transform WHERE clauses without me doing anything

Hi there,

For the longest time now, SAP DS touches the WHERE clauses in query transforms when I open a query transform, even when I haven't clicked anything. This is problematic because when I do a compare to the central repository, it is difficult to ascertain what exactly has changed.

Example: I open a Job, then double click a WF, then a DF, and then a query transform. Without touching anything else, I close Data Services and it prompts me to save that DF, even though I didn't click on any fields. If I do save the DF object and then compare it to the central repository, it shows the WHERE clause as changed, even though it is identical (including whitespace).

Can anyone explain this behaviour? I also notice sometimes there are actual differences, with those differences being an added carriage return and some whitespace at the end of the WHERE clause, even though I didn't explicitly add them.

Thanks,

Allan
