Golden Record - Interaction with ID_ORIGIN that is existing on two or more contacts

Hi All,

we are on yM Cloud 1802.

If two interaction contacts (A and B) have the same email address or the same phone number (in our system email is non-shareable and phone number is shareable) and afterwards it is loaded:

  • an interaction with the same phone number OR
  • an interaction with the same email

than these interactions are not visible on both contact profiles of contact A and B.

What has happened with these interactions?

Hello Oliver,

Can you tell me how you posted the interaction?

If possible, provide me the data set (excluding the personal info of course).

Just for information, Did you take a look at the 'Import Monitor' app ?

That could tell you if the interaction update is successful or not.

Hi Yuvaraj,

what do you think should happen in the system of you load an interaction with an ID_ORIGIN that exists more than one time in the system? I dont think there exists any logic for that.

I always check the log files and all was loaded without errors.

The files that I have loaded are:

The are existing two contacts with this phone number and this email address.

Dear Kunmal,

thank you for your answer :-). I still dont understand what has happened with the interaction?

As the interaction has an email as ID_ORIGIN that is assigned to two or more contacts how technically SAP yM is handling these kind of data loads?
