Dear sap gurus,
what is the diff between delivery block in header level and schedule line level?
Kindly advice.
Divya
Hello,
Delivery block at the header level of a document is applicable for the entire document. If the delivery block is at the schdule line level, it is only applicable to the particular lin item in the document.

Dear Freind,
There are various blocks in the delivery
Delivery block at the header level means :
*In the sales order header screen you can block the delivery for that particular order. *
Now if you want to block the delivery for all the orders which has the schedule line X(SAY)
Then go to VOV6 : For the Schedule line in the bussiness data you can block the delivery.

A S

Hi Divya...
Well... For the delivery block at header level, the delivery type must be set in Customizing. The delivery block at schedule line level, however, is activated as soon as you enter it.
Does that make any sense to you
Thanks;

Hi Divya,
Delivery block at the heder level will not allow you to create a delivery for that particular sales order.
But the delivery block in schedule line will only stop you to create the delivery for those number of items which have been comitted on the particular date.

Karan
