Planning time fence in Strategy 50

Hi Experts,

I am testing a scenario in Strategy 50. I have given demand in MD61 for the matl with strategy 50. When I run MRP the BOM is not exploding.

I find that Planning time fence is creating problem. But in SPRO there is no planning time fence maintained . Nor I have given in material master lavel.

Please let me know how to explode the BOM.

Hi,

Strategy 50 is Make to order scenario. Create a sale order and run MRP. System will explode BOM.

MD61 will not work for MTO scenario.

Check in OPPR, OPPQ , OMP9

MRP -> Planning-> MRP calculation -> Define planning time fence

whether u have maintained planning time fence

Also check your BOM validity dates.

Hi,

The BOM is not exploding if I am creating on todays date. How ever it is exploding if i am creating it on a back date. Can u clarify why is it happening so.

Hi

In MD04 check the date of requirement. Next check BOM if it is valid on that day. Pls revert
