during upload of a picture in SE78, should the picture be saved in presentation server or application server or it doesnt matter?

Store the picture as .bmp in presentation server.

It should be on presentation server. Did you try uploading the Logo using SE78. where it is pointing to...?

Hi,

While uploading a picture, it sholud be in your Presentation server. Once uploaded, it will remain in your DATABASE. Application server will come in to picture only when fetching the Logo to display.

Add from Tcode OAOR.

select your class name as per your need and class type = OT

it will be globally declared.
