Why should I create a delivery unit and assign the package to the delivery unit and then transport when I have the option of exporting the package from source and importing it in the target?
The export/import option is only intended for troubleshooting (IE when you need to send content to SAP for debugging). Otherwise the delivery unit is the correct way to transport content in the old HANA Repository.
