Product code for Crystal Reports XI R2/SP2 download

I have been succesfully deploying software on XP machines using VS 2003 with bundled Crystal Reports 9. Because reports would not work when deployed on Vista machines, I have just downloaded Crystal Reports XI R2 and SP2 (14-70174-085.zip). During installation I have been asked for the product key code. The key code for my bundled CR 9 is not accepted.

Could anyone: (1) confirm that installing XI R2 will mean I can deploy on Vista computers; and/or (2) advise how to get the product code for the downloaded XI R2/SP2 (I have sent an e-mail to Business Objects for the code)?

Hello Wayne,

You will need to purchase Crystal Reports XI Release 2 to get a valid registration and keycode. There are no free upgrades from bundled or prior versions of the product.

I have never deployed an XI R2 and .NET 1.1 to Vista, but I believe it should work.

You can ask for a temp keycode to allow you to test it prior to purchasing.

Hi,

CR XI R2 upgrade is not free for CR 9.1 users.

You need to purchse it.
