I created a "Top 20 Customer" condition based on Sales. The query runs fine and reports the Top 20 Customers on a "Global Customer" chanacteristic..
I would like to filter a particular "global customer from my results. What we do is assign a generic global customer number to a select few 0SOLD_TO customers. They roll up to our generic global custromer #. We would like the ability to filter this value out and have the 21st value represented. Is there a way to filter on the condition. I can not filter on the query due to the requirement to reflect all sales on a defined period.
Any thoughts how I force the condition to give me results based on this restriction ?
Thank you,...Dan
Kalpana,
Not sure if I understand entirely. variant with a dropdown option may be workable. If I understand you correctly, the variant can be a variable with the filtering defined within the variable.
Example ... set a multiple global customer range...and exclude my "global customer #" in my variable.
My issue is the query must be broad in scope. It's part of our business dashboard ..... the dashboard 20 Top gross must be "all inclusive" ... I have a dropdown to display values first "worldwide", then select by geographic region.
Therefore all totals displayed at the header line must
be free of the condition restriction.
If I leave my query selection free of "global customer" filtering, but include "global customer" with a Default Value filter for drilldown functionality, I may have something workable.
Possibly this Default Value characteristic can then restrict this isolated value.
It's a thought I'll test and let you know.
Thanks .... Dan

Hi,
for this I think u need to create a drop down option for variants for the Customer number filed in ur query...
and when u select the particular customer number in your top 20 list of customers and these variants should be passed to the condition where you are selecting the top 20 customers according to the Sales and in this if the customer number is same as the variant from the drop down then that cusomer has to be dropped and the 21st top customer will cum into display..
I am not sure of this solution.. hope u got wat i am trying to suggest
Cheers,
Kalpana
