I have a report where the group header is divided into multiple sections, GHa, GHb, GHc, GHd, GHe where only one is displayed per record, based on a key value 1-5. The catch is that there may or may not be displayed detail below the selected Group Header, so that group headers might follow each other before there is detail. Think of it like an outline. Here is an example:
GH1a - MAIN TITLE GH1b - Subtitle GH1c - a) First Item D - Detail
The problem is that if GH1a, GH1b or GH1c come at the bottom of the page, the 4 rows are split across the page break. I am able to keep the the detail together, but need to push GH1a, GH1b, GH1c, D to the next page if they will not fit together on the current page.
It would be nice if Crystal Reports had the ability to tie one section to the one below it, but in successive updates, Business Objects has failed to address this limitation. I am hoping someone has a work-around that might let me correct this formatting issue.
