Hi,
scenrios,
User A is not able to execute the transaction SU01. but when he tries the same transaction "SU01" the next day he is able to execute it successfully.
How come he is able to execute the transaction which he was not able to perform the other day. Given that no user comparison was performed in between the two days
Regards,
Jayakumar C
Dear Jay
Please login to that system and go to User information system ( Tcode SUIM)..
Select the last option - Change Documents -- For user
Give the user name and select the from and to dates ( as desired - in your case only one day)..
Check all ( to get details of all the changes made to the user account, if any)
This will give you if any changes were done to the account .. if you do nto see any change between yesterday and today then check what profiles/roles he has:-
Come back and select the same Change doecument -- Now role or profile and giev the observed profile or role name to check if there were any changes made to the role or profile which can affest the user authorization .
Pls write back if you have more questions
Award Points if help is useful **
Thanks

When you say that no user comparison was performed do you include the background jobs? RHAUTUPD_NEW is scheduled on most systems I've encountered to run every night.

Was there any error message when the user was trying to go to SU01. Did he have proper authroization? Is he now going to SU01 or SU01D?
