Want to install CE10 on a new server, using the old servers config

Does anyone have a quick and easy set of instructions on how to do this? I have tried this several different ways with several different errors. Each time, I simply get to a dead end, and uninstall-reinstall on the new server.

I have tried the import wizard, starting from scratch, everything.
