How to reprocess an Idoc without creating a new one.

Hello Experts,

When reprocessing an Idoc using WE19, a new Idoc will get generated. But my problem is I need the same Idoc to be edited and be posted successfully after reprocessing. There should be no creation of another new Idoc.

Is there any way to do so? Kindly suggest.

Regards

    Hello,

You can reprocess the IDoc by executing the Standard SAP Program RBDAPP01 without generating a New IDoc.

You can use the transaction WE02 to edit the idoc and BD87 to reprocess the idoc without cloning.

    Hello,

    Goto BD87 transaction,

select the IDoc number in error, or just execute the report, an alv tree is displayed,

open the node for the Message type that you need,

double click on the error message.

    Double click on Idoc number,

it will take you to the IDoc display screen, then

select the segment that has the problem and double click on the icon just before the segment name.

goto the menu idoc-->display change on the next screen

    Change the values and save

    press f3 ( twice)

then again choose the node for the message type and press process button.

    regards,

    Advait
