Handling Unit transfer between Storage Locations

Gurus and Friends, hope some of you can throw some light on this.

2 Storage Locations. Both belong to the same Plant. Both are HUM. The receiving plant is WManaged.

I create a delivery, transfer 311 via MB1B, inbound delivery created at receeiving storage. One step transfer is enough. So far, so good.

The question is:

How can I pack the inbound delivery with the HUs sitting in the origin Storage Location. Typing manually at the delivery works but is not an option. I would like to pack these HU (mostly) with a scanner. I've tried with the packing station but I am not able to use already created HUs.

Similar case somebody?

When packing has not happened , how did you get HU's? Is it through automatic packing . Please confirm.

You can use packing station if the packing station profile "delivery" is defined in the system.

Next, packing functionality has to be configured in scanner, According to me scanner will scan the HU number that means packing has to be done before scanner comes into picture.

Packing has not happened at delivery level (the delivery is not packaged) but the HUs already exist in the the System. They are in the origin Storage Location. I can assign manually those HUs (via VL02n - packing) and then post GR. What I would like to do is to pack (assign to deliver) the HUs with a scanner.
