Check if shopping cart uses new or old structures

Hi. We have an error in methode "cl_exithandler=>get_instance. The program says:

• check if shopping uses old or new structures.

CALL FUNCTION 'BBP_PD_SC_CHECK_IS_PD'

EXPORTING

ev_is_pd = lv_new_struc.

Anyone knows what "new structures" are in this context?
