How to create a report using Sales and Inventory details?

I would like to create a Report to identify Obsolete materials (To update their material status) using Sales Order Details and Inventory Details. There should not be any sales Returns for the past 2 years, no sales orders for the past 2 years and current inventory should be 0. How can I create such a Report? I do not have Access to SQVI but can use SE16N.

Simply you cant without having authority, except you consider a download of each relevant table as appropriate and want to do your report then in MS Access or MS Excel.

I even doubt that you can get to your goal with SQVI, except you create several, as SAP has quite a lot stock tables.

Usually such analysis would be done with a real ABAP report to be efficient

Yes I totally agree. But here my Problem is I Need to know which all tables I Need to consider even if I want to create this Report in multiple Tasks. I see there is a T-Code MC46 which gives me consumption, but its not Report friendly. I can get the stock from MARD table but my Problem here is to find the last sales order date and last sales return date


The quickest way to find SAP tables is using Google

a search term as example: sales order table sap

another search as example: stock tables sap

Your requirement is usually not for a single event, you would probably want to do such analysis every day for one or more materials. It is not cost efficient if you do it with download and table browser.

Ask your supervisor if you can get an ABAP report. Then create a function design for your ABAPer.
