Rule base agent assignment not working

Hi,

I have a simple workflow with a user decision step. I have defined a new rule via. function module and for now im simply passing sy-uname to actor_tab with US as object type. Somehow agent is not appearing in log. i have gone through several posts and done all basic settings such as making task as general or clearing buffer etc. could anybody let me know whatelse i could missing here.

Hi,

My guess is that something isn't right with the bindings.

Use the workflow log to see the content of the workflow containers. Then check if you pass these correctly to the rule.

Rob, i guess i don't need any binding here. i have user decision step wherein i have this rule. Inside rule im passing sy-uname in actor_tab. so basically i myself should get work item in workplace.

yes Anjan, i checked and it was fine i.e., it returned my id as i was passing sy-uname.
