hi,

how to issue the capital goods to particular cost center so that it should update in RG23CPART1.At present we are issuing the goods by 201 but it is not updating in excise register .

helpfull answer will rewarded

hi,

i do not get why u want update the rg23c part1 while issuing the asset/ matl.

generally at the time of receipt it will up date provided in MMR if u have maintained the material type in foreign trade import data

if you want to update the part 1 entry to be created during the issue of capital goods using movement type 201 the you will have to configure the same in the IMG

Navigation path for the same is

IMG->LOg General->Tax on goods movements-> India-> Buss trax->Incoming excise invoices->specify which movement types involve excise invoices.

Here select your movemnt type 201 and mantain the register type as RG23C

Dear,

As per my view,

You can issue material with MIGO - Good Issue with 201 movement type.

But at the time of good issue RG23CPART1 is not updated.

RG23CPART1 updated only when material is receive.

Hi

RG23C part 1 register gets updated when you receive goods using movt type 101.

If you want 201 movt type to trigger excise updation then you have to add this movt type in IMG>LOG GEN>tax on goodsmovt

I have given this mvt type (201) in the path you have given but still it is not updating the good issuing quantity in register.
