Dear all

If i create a material with only basic data,purchaseing,plant data (with out accounting view)and do GR

what are the effects and how concerned G/L accounts pickup

System will nt determine the G/L account positng at wht price contols??

It will not be able to post the Price difference....

There will be not MAP change if there is price defferece betwen PO, GR, IR....

Dear,

As per my view.

If you not maintain material for accounting view then accounting document is not generated for good receipt, moving average price is also not updated and if accounting document is generated then wring document will be generated for material, G/L not determine for good receipt.

You cannot create Purchase Order. It will display error Material not maintained by accounting department.

Hi,

GL accounts will not be determined if u dont maintain Accounting view for a material.

Because valuation class will determine GL accounts
